For whatever it's worth, I've never caught Open Media spouting bullshit. And the TPP is very real and (to my mind) very dangerous. To labour rights, to environmental protection, to a huge chunk of signatory nations' abilities to decide on their own national or state/provincial policies about just about anything
that gets in the way of business and the free-flow of capital. It's about a lot more than freedom of the internet, but for obvious reasons that's Open Media's focus.
Meanwhile, I urge you to do a little research on the Trans Pacific Partnership. Granted, it's the sort of issue that draws conspiracy nuts out of the woodwork like honey draws flies and
there's not a whole hell of a lot being published in the mainstream press. One place you might want to start is with the Green Party via http://www.greenparty.ca/tpp/learn-more
