Translate.google.com tells me your characters mean "smug" - a far cry from "bashful". (Weirdly, at least with this level of blurriness, the woman in lime looks a lot like my best friend's mother, now that I look at again.)

yes. 臭美 does mean smug. But I was just saying that you looked bashful, not smug because I assumed that's what you meant by 'choumei'

Truthfully, I saw the picture and decided it made me actually look something approaching handsome (ahem. Despite the thinning mop) and said as much to Raven. As she loves to do, she accused me of being choumei, at which point I became convinced the woman in lime-green was makin' eyes at me.

But I probably protest (and explain) far too much ...
