It's just absolutely pathetic. Especially reading the Wikileaks reports of how American soldiers were ordered to bomb civilian hospitals, it's... disgusting. I don't even know what to say about it. I am well aware that I'm not knowledgeable on the subject, so I'm sure if I looked into it more I'd want to vomit over the atrocities.

The sounds of silence

I very deliberately avoided all broadcast and print media yesterday, as I was desperate to save myself from the self-centred bleating (by Canadian media no less!) about the "uniqueness" of 9/11, as if New Yorker's lives are basically infinitely more valuable than those of brown people in poor countries "we" choose to invade.
