Torchwood: Miracle Day — Escape to L.A. Introduction

The answer to the question, What happens in Escape to L.A.? is, "Not very much and what does happen is too stupid for words."

As there is no sense of reality in Torchwood: Miracle Day, so there is no sense of urgency. The only ticking clock is that of the viewer's rapidly-dwindling patience.

Once can only imagine that two years ago, the four hours to which we've been subjected so far would have been, to much better effect, condensed into the first 30 minutes or so of Russell T Davies flawed but taut, emotionally-moving and thoroughly gripping Children of Earth.

GOD IT SUCKED IT SUCKED IT SUCKED

oh,well hello.
i realize i'm not only late but reiterative, but oh my. that was bad, last friday, who's thinking/drinking what out there? venice and torchwood. goes together like ... wait, i'm trying ... no. pigs and papercuts, i have no clue what kind of non-metaphor would suit. thanks for your note - i wasn't imagining you'd bother to read parenting ramblings, lord knows, i wasn't imagining i'd still be writing them. feel no need! but i do enjoy reading you, even if only to nod in irritable agreement.
truly, i'm just here to toast your pinkfloydwood logo.

Good grief, when it rains, it pours, eh? Russell T Davies doth bring together estranged bloggers!

No point in rehashing what I said in your journal about Torchwood, but I'm pleased you liked the Floyd reference.
